Privacy Policy

What we collect

To run licensing we store: your email address; Paddle customer and subscription IDs; the random install ID of each Mac; each Mac’s name (for example “Studio MacBook”) and plugin version; activation and last-seen times; and, for free trials only, a salted hash of your IP address to limit abuse.

What we do not collect

Card details (Paddle handles payments), raw IP addresses, your projects, captions, transcripts or media. The plugin sends nothing about your projects.

Who processes data

Paddle (billing, merchant of record), Cloudflare (hosting and database), and Maileroo (license-key emails). TODO(legal): processor list, locations, transfer mechanisms.

Retention and your rights

We keep license records while a subscription exists and as needed for accounting. You can ask us to delete your data. TODO(legal): retention periods, GDPR/CCPA/Australian Privacy Act wording, contact for requests.
